WORK

Westfield Corporate Website

Creative direction, design assessment, research, concept

When Westfield Labs began, one of our first tasks was to take a look at Westfield Shopping Center’s outdated corporate website. We had to start from scratch organizing the content, creating a site architecture, designing navigation and applying a new style that reflected the brand. For the homepage, I wanted to showcase some of Westfield's most impressive properties—gorgeously built shopping centers from around the world shown in time-lapse video.

I directed resources to help create the page templates based on my vision for the site and homepage concept. Photographers and videographers were also involved to capture footage of the centers and update executive photos. Each video was supported by content  that specified the center's location, retailer brands and quick stats on square footage, number of retailers, area residence and annual visits.

Originally proposed home page of the Westfield corporate website

Showcasing Westfield's flagship properties was a consistent theme that ran throughout the site design. Below is an example the layout used for most of the secondary pages. The proposed site was rich with multimedia, galleries and contemporary style elements.
